Happy Birthday Daddy!

We celebrated Brad's birthday last week since he was going to be gone. We made him a pillowcase with pictures of the kids to take with him so he could fall asleep and wake up with them everyday. I also attempted to make his Grandma's homemade angle food cake.  It tasted good, but still not the same as hers and never will be I am coming to realize =-)

Brad, we miss you and love you!
The kids wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday.
~Enjoy~

We love visitors

Our cousin Katie was in town for a friend's baby shower and we were lucky enough to have her stop by for a visit. It was so much fun to introduce her to the little man and see how silly Miss A is getting. Here are a few pictures.

Trying on Katie's shades.

Mr.B loved Katie, all smiles.

Thank you Katie for stopping by, it was so nice to be able to introduce you to the little man.

Pumpkins and leaves

Last weekend we were able to carve pumpkins for the first time and play in the leaves. Miss A tried to eat the seeds and goopy middle, but after she got a taste, she figured out she would rather put it in the bag. She also was not too thrilled about being put into a pile of leaves, but hey, tradition right?!! Enjoy the pictures.

Oh yeah, here is just a fun picture of what I got to wake up to one morning when Daddy got up with Miss A. The traction on her PJ's were not doing her justice so she got to sport her new kicks and loved it!

Really??

We listen to Toddler Tunes almost everyday singing and dancing, Miss A LOVES it. Well, we were dancing away when I think I hear them singing about Poop and I glance at the TV and see this......

Hmm....'Great Big Poop'....is this what my life has come to?????

Fall Weekend

What else do you think of when you think of Fall other than Halloween and Pumpkins!! We had a Halloween Party for the kids in our flying squadrons and Miss A loved being around all the big kids, playing the games, trying to steal candy from every bin and trying to steal the show. Mr. B hung out, literally, on Daddy in the Bjorn the whole time snoozing away.

The next day we visited a local Pumpkin Patch with many pumpkins to choose from, yummy hot apple cider, chickens, pigs, bunnies, stuff your own scarecrow, face and pumpkin painting, the works! It is so fun to see how much Miss A is learning and takes everything in.

Miss A n Mr. B's first Tractor Hay Ride

She tried real hard to pick this one.

What do you think she is saying to this guy?
Big girl! I think she found her pumpkin!
